An iPiccy Thanksgiving Challenge

Directions: Practice your iPiccy photo editing skills using these Thanksgiving-themed images from Britannica's ImageQuest. Open a Google Doc, name it "iPiccy Thanksgiving" and use it to paste your edited photos onto. The photos you will work with are hyperlinked, below:

1. Click on the photo entitled "turkey in the road." Save it to your desktop so that you can upload it to iPiccy's editing space and crop out the bicyclist. Paste your edited picture onto the Google Doc.

2. Click on the photo entitled "colonial table." Save it to your desktop so that you can upload it to iPiccy's editing space. Once uploaded, choose the "frames" tool. Apply a mirror frame and tint it orange. Paste your edited picture onto the Google Doc.

3. Click on the photo entitled "cornucopia." Save it to your desktop so that you can upload it to iPiccy's editing space. Once uploaded, find the clone tool under the crop tool menu, and clone the pumpkin from the cornucopia to a blank part of the picture. Color the pumpkins with the color of your choice. Paste your edited picture onto the Google Doc.

4. Click on the photos entitled "postcard 1," "postcard 2," "postcard 3", and
"postcard 4." Save them to your desktop so that you can upload them to iPiccy's editing space. Choose the collage tool. Find a collage layout for 4 pictures that allows you to show most of the postcards. Play with the spacing and roundness tools to get a pleasing effect. Paste your edited picture onto the Google Doc.

5. Click on the photos entitled "Kermit" and "SpongeBob." Save them to your desktop so that you can upload them to iPiccy's editing space. Once uploaded, use vector masking to crop off Kermit's head. Then put Kermit's head onto SpongeBob. Paste your edited picture onto the Google Doc.

Finished? Then, Happy Thanksgiving!
